An extravaganza of Silent Film in the Art Deco De Luxe Theatre, Opotiki
Lon Chaney, master of the use of grotesque, distorting makeup, is best remembered for his horror movies, which we celebrate in this year's Silent Film Festival.
Take a look at our 2012 Festival programme, which includes the second Silent Film-Making competition, sponsored by Horizon Energy. Finalists will have a score especially written for their films by our accompanist, Nick Giles-Palmer, who will be at the Bechstein grand piano for the Finals on the Friday evening September 7th.
